As you can see from the photo, your four bike and hikers enjoyed the race night a few weeks ago. Our role as bookmakers did not deter us from having a few winners and also, as you can see, a few pints.
We are still collecting in the last few quid but it looks like we have raised over £1700 from the race night. A massive thank you to all who attended - hopefully you had a good time. Thanks also to the sponsors, horse owners and everyone else who has backed us on this, it is much appreciated.
From a personal point of view, I am seriously going to have to get the finger out and get training. If I put much more weight on over Christmas, I am in trouble!
My new year's resolution is to start posting more regularly on this blog - alan was giving me a hard time about it tonight.
